Run Ukraine, together with the running club from Irpin, Run in Irpin, invites everyone to an open run through the war-torn city. The event will take place on Sunday, August 28, within the RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE: Stage Irpin.
Irpin became one of the most affected cities in the Kyiv region: the russian invaders damaged more than 70% of Irpin, and 30% of the city was completely destroyed. Together with the Run in Irpin club, we will run through the streets of Irpin and collect funds for the restoration of the hero city.
It will be a difficult, but very important run: you will be able to see with your own eyes the terrible consequences of the war and, at the same time, feel the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian land, which, despite everything, continues to live. On the route, you will see modern new buildings, an amazing Ukrainian forest, and buildings that need to be rebuilt… But together we will renovate everything!
Participation in the longrun is free. If you wish, you can donate to the reconstruction of the city by purchasing registration for the RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE: Stage Irpin, or directly to the Run in Irpin club. Clothing can be left at the start point. Safety instructions for air raid alarms will be published later.
