The participants of the RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE series donated UAH 155,167 to the Dobrobat volunteer building division for the restoration of war-ravaged buildings in the Bucha district and Chernihiv region.
In Ukraine and abroad, a virtual charity RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE is taking place. The participants collect funds for the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities destroyed by the russian occupiers. Now, the series has 6 stages: one stage is one city. The first two stages of the reconstruction of Bucha and Chernihiv have been completed, and the collected funds (155,167 UAH) have already been donated to the Dobrobat volunteer building division, a volunteer association that carries out urgent reconstruction in the de-occupied territories.
“Gradually, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are clearing our cities of invaders, and now we have to start rebuilding to become even better and stronger. Together with benefactors and everyone who helps in any way, we ensure the dismantling of damaged buildings and urgent reconstruction. All provided the funds will be used to restore buildings, communications, infrastructure damaged as a result of russia’s military aggression,” — said at the NGO “Dobrobat”.
The organizer of the series of RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE is the Ukrainian company Run Ukraine, which holds the largest running events in Ukraine. Now participants can chose to run 10 km, 21 km or a free distance and contribute to the restoration of Kharkiv, Irpin, Sumy and Mykolaiv, because 70% of the profit from registrations goes to charity. Everyone who joins the restoration of the country will receive a commemorative medal dedicated to the chosen city.
