On September 4, the fourth stage of the online charity race RENOVATION RUN 2022 ONLINE — Stage Irpin, has finished. People from all over the world ran and collected funds for the reconstruction of one of the most affected cities in the Kyiv region. At the Irpin Stage, 191 participants from 13 countries of the world covered their distances, and the 10 km distance became the most popular — more than 100 runners completed it.
An important event within this stage was an open run through the streets of Irpin, organized jointly with the Run in Irpin running club. More than 80 runners ran 8 or 19 km to draw attention to the issue of rebuilding the houses of the hero city destroyed during the russian occupation. It was an emotionally difficult, but very important run: the participants saw with their own eyes the terrible consequences of the war and, at the same time, felt the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian city, which, despite everything, continues to live and renovate.
Run Ukraine sincerely thanks everyone for participating in the Stage Irpin and making a significant contribution to the joint great cause of rebuilding Ukraine! 70% of the profit from the registration will be donated in the near future to Dobrobat volunteer building division for the urgent renovation of the Irpin district.
